Music at Grace is an important part of our worship services. We believe music is a powerful tool for cultivating communion and peace in our worship and congregational life. Our blended worship services weekly include choir, strings, organ, and piano. We follow a traditional Lutheran liturgy, but communicate the texts in modern and fresh ways. A wide range of styles and sounds characterize our services and our members are always excited to learn something new. We glorify God by using music to serve His church and people!
Although professional talents from the Lansing area regularly join us for worship, our members play a highly active role in the music program, collaborating through their instruments, voices, and support. Choir and instrumental ensemble participation is open to all who would like to join.
Programs offered through the Grace Music Program:
The Grace Senior Choir
Hand Bell Choir
Summer Youth Music Camp
The Choral Scholars Program
Summer Hymn Sing aboard the Michigan River Princess
Annual Lessons and Carols Service
12th Night Carol Festival
